8 x 10 Trees at Sutro Hill Original (framed)

This is a framed 8 x 10 original oil painting titled "Trees at Sutro Hill" and completed April 2026. The painting can also come without the frame for $200. 

This painting was inspired from a hike I took at Sutro Hill during a sunset in early February 2026. I tried taking a new perspective for this second painting in my Forest Series 2026, and so painted this 8 x 10 from an eye level point of view. I loved the way the sun shone through the trees in the background. I found it challenging to bring the foreground into more detail, especially the leaves, but overall am happy with how painting this new perspective turned out.
