Blueberries

A pivot from my normal landscape work, Blueberries was my first fruit study. Painting blueberries proved to be a challenge. I was especially challenged when evaluating if I had enough hues of blue to bring the blueberries to life. I had fun painting a red background to contrast the blue and feel that it completes the painting.
