Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach is inspired from my visit to Oregon with my father and brother. My father and I would walk down the shore to look at the tide pools, and during one of these walks he took a picture of the sunset. I used his picture for the reference photo. Painting the sunset was enjoyable, and I was especially in awe of how the water reflected the pink sky. My favorite part of this painting was making the water, in which I got into a rhythm making back and forth brushstrokes.
